A 10-year-old boy is brought in by ambulance having been involved in a motor vehicle collision.

Describe and interpret the following radiograph (click on images to enlarge):

Displaced fractures of the superior pubic rami bilaterally and the left inferior pubic rami
Undisplaced fracture of the right inferior pubic ramus
Slight displacement and widening of the symphysis pubis
No femoral fracture identified
Comminuted fracture of the right sacrum extending into the right sacroiliac joint (difficult to appreciate on plain radiographs due to overlying bowel gas)
